The Wedding Show at Ubi

Coincidentally, Hani's friend who called us up to dance for this wedding is my primary school friend, Shikin. And the bride is Shikin's cousin. She's Hamidah Wahab's daughter whose name is Shahidah too! So you can tell how nervous we were as there were guests from Suria(Atas Heights) and such. But the bride and her family were nice people and humble. The wedding was also a simple affair I guess. BUT! The wedding car was a freaking LIMO with the shiniest rims I've ever seen, I swear! $100/hr according to the big DJ man. 0.0

And guess who I saw at the wedding as well? Jeng jeng jeng~ Ask me if you wanna know. *haha*

I had a nice day today off from work. *beams* Settled the TP Tuition loan from DBS at noon with Ain and we saw our Mr. Postman! Hahaha. We don't know his name you see, so we named him that. Ok tu je.

I love names starting from the letter 'A', for both boys and girls. Maternal hormones kicking in as you can see. Names starting from 'A' just sounds so pure, so innocent. I have got a few names listed down for the future (haha!). Saved in the drafts section for me to refer to.

And this is just something random. I do hope this blog is still alive so that I can read these entries and laugh at myself 10 or 20 years down the road. Silly entries, life journeys, pictures (how much I've changed!!). Hoooo boy, that is gonna be interesting~

Boyfriend had his POP this afternoon at Nee Soon Camp. I felt guilty as I'm working and didn't take leave to attend the POP. I wanna see you later lah boyfriend!!

I think the coldness of the aircon in the office is making me have tummy-aches. Weather, please stay this way, do not pour on me! No umbrella ella ella eh eh eh~ SORRY!

The wedding show on 11th May.

1 more hour. Some calling needs to be done.
Ok bye!

Truth.

Acception is the only option, whether you like or not. It hurts most of the time, but that is the nature of truth, ain't it? I have come to accept certain things as they are. News from a friend reminds me that sometimes, the ones closest to you are the ones that will do you bad. And that will definitely hit you real hard because, you thought they will have your back when shit happens.

I have just started MySavingsAccount with P/O/S/B on Friday since I have the time off from work. That will help me to at least save some of my pay which has decreased rapidly in the past week. Mane tak, bills, bills, bills. Hah.

And of course, Friday was THE day!! Graduation Day 2008. I felt like Harry Potter in the graduation robe. HAHAHA! Minus the broomsticks and hats. Then Sunday was gathering with Papa's side and all the kiddy kecohness! Pictures will be uploaded once I get hold of them. =D
3 "legends" of MWC '04 batch. hahaha!

Cause in the dark of night you're all I can see
And you sure look like a star to me

We're 2 years, baby! I felt a sense of achievement in myself last night while talking to him on the phone. Not that I broke my own "record" on the how-long-we're-together issue. Not yet. *hurhur* I felt overwhelmed and just proud of us that we've come this far with all the obstacles and things he went through while I painfully watch. I know it's not a very long time, 2 years aje. But it feels like we've known each other since forever! I love him to bits and that is all that matters. *sings* oh mama, saya mahu kahwin~~

I've got something for the male species here:
Promise her anything, but give her love
- just something I got from a slogan generator. (but it sounds like it comes from some big-shot, right? hehehe)

Oh and do you know that goldfish will turn black if kept in a dark room?
And that the Black Box found in airplanes are not black but painted red?
There, random facts for you =D

It was definitely a lingerie shopping day on Tuesday with my newest twin, Ain. Pampered ourselves with Pierre Cardin's bras at Robinsons. The lingerie sale was too tempting to only buy 1. and so we bought 2! Each. I bought a pair of flats too!

And since payday came only then, we bought perfumes and lotions for our moms as a belated Mother's Day gift. It looked, felt and smells expensive and it comes from Paris though the brand was never heard of. But what the heck, the smell was so my mama's smell. And she loved it. It was the perfect gift. My mom and her reactions, so funny. Classic~

The adult feeling is sinking into me now since I'm starting to help pay for some of the utilities at home. I keep telling myself that I AM already 21 and that I will have to pay for my own bills when I have my own house later. Slowly, I'm learning the hardhips of life but I ain't complaining. (haha, I do at times and I hate myself for being such a complainer. Sometimes you just can't help it, can you?) *hurhur*

Outings with girlfriends are always great, yeah? ESCAPE and Ayat-Ayat Cinta, filled with laughter, screams and tears. I just luuuurvve my girls. Fad, you are being missed okay babe? We shall go Seoul Garden next to fill our forever hungry tummies. =D

I don't know about you, but I love these Japanese shows/comedies. Language is a barrier, but not the actions. Enjoy!

The long awaited car ride by Aisyah... to ARNOLDS!Arnold's by the Fish Pond at Pasir Ris was very much as if we were in Malaysia. It was something fresh to be there and eat in the outdoors with the not-so-bright-lights and of course, with the company of good ol' friends
And wow I am surprised to see the number of freshies for SNT this batch. The attendance was overwhelming and the girls are such a good sport. This is a good start, girls! I say this as every new academic year begins and I will say it again. I hope the amount does not decrease as the year goes by because it is not easy to keep the number as it is. So, I am wishing the SGH & ASGH of SNT all the best in leading the new and current batch!

Once again, the 21st birthday chalet was a blast! Need I say more? *hurhur*
My thanks goes out to the bestfriends, sister and boyfriend for making the chalet a success. Alhamdulillah! Friends and guests who came, thank YOU too! We hope you had a nice time and enjoyed the food BBQ-ed by our very own chefs, Nur Shakilah, Yazid and Ridzuan.
Big cake, aye? It was yummy-licious!!

2 nights was not enough I tell you! From the late night self-BBQ to the games in the wee hours(on both nights!) to the exchanging of presents between the bestfriends and most importantly, the company and laughters shared with all. The kecoh-ness of preps were worth our every sweat. Awwww~ such love!
