We(Ain and myself, legends/models/bestcustomerservice of SII) were given a 1 week notice by the manager last Friday after coming back from an interview. Apparently, it was a sudden notice without any reasons. This was what she said:
"By the way, I'm giving you 1 week notice as we have found replacements for you. Your last day will be on Thursday"
WTF!!

Yes I was pissed with that bloody ugly big fat b*tch! And so we went on a "strike" on that day - we didn't do any work. We came to a conclusion that she is biased, or more like racist. She made it even more obvious when our replacements are CHINESE (no offence to Chinese friends and blog-readers, but she really has this issue) and the new girl was 15 minutes late on her 2nd training day but nothing was said. See what I mean? I think that the decision to terminate us is solely based on her own personal reasons as Ain felt that she held a grudge against us - most likely because we're close to the "Big Ones" in the company. People whom we talked to about this matter even said that maybe she's insecured having 2 young girls there. She's unmarried, or so I heard. Old unwanted b*tch. Rudy (who is close to us), our Programme Manager was not even informed about this matter, while our AM and Director was. He's a funny Indian lawyer who chats and jokes with us and calls us Ma'm. The sadness can clearly be seen when he knew about it and he said this:
"Who am I gonna talk to when if both of you are not here?"
Sedih okay when he said that.

Even the students and trainers were shocked, speechless, wide-eyed. A moment of silence and awkwardness there at the counter. They depend on us, they talked to us like we've known each other since forever, they greeted us every morning when they come to class, they smiled at us every time they took the sweets at the counter even if they passed by a 100 times. Mind you, we're only temp staff but we know a hell lot of stuff and most of the students. And best of all, the students know us by name and in person. They do not know who is Ms Lim, or even worse, Ms Wong-the-old-hag-who-is-unmarried. When I was on leave on one of the days and a student was asking about something to one of the staff there (the sidekick to the one who terminated us), all she said was
"Oh, I don't know. The temp staff is not here."
Now who's being ignorant about things?

Ok, does it occur to you that I'm writing a composition here? Hahaha!

Anyway, there are alot of other things that happened. So yesterday being our last day, we bought a Thank You card for Rudy and Yang Hoon cause she's the nicest one among the rest. Plus she's getting married! Sape excited sekarang? Me! Ok, so the leaving part was hard. We didn't give anything to the rest but we said our goodbyes and thanks to the rest of the staff except for that woman and her ignorant sidekick. I'm not two-faced. If I don't like you, I won't bother to talk to you or even say "Hi".

I was sad about leaving cause I'll be leaving wonderful students, trainers and of course, Rudy. I am glad too because I can't stand people like that old woman and working in a place that's filled with hypocrisy.

Why do you think we were terminated?
a) because we went for an interview with NIE (that's what we told them, padehal interview at Sengkang Pri. hahaha!)
b) bad attitude/latecoming/lazy (but the students said we are effective and we provide good customer service unlike the permanent staff. WE WIN HANDS DOWN!)
